Job summary

Ultra Maritime seeks a highly skilled electrical technician to support complex integration and testing of electronic systems for maritime defense applications. You will assist engineers, perform electrical testing, interpret schematics and BOMs, and document configurations and results.

Occasional travel and DoD clearance readiness are required. Responsibilities include wiring, testing, data collection, and collaboration with cross-disciplinary teams to meet project goals in a lab and field

Qualifications

  • Interpret schematics, diagrams and BOMs and follow engineering procedures.
  • 10+ years using digital test meters and oscilloscopes and troubleshooting electronics.
  • Experience with PCB rework and inspection of electro-mechanical systems.
  • Ability to obtain DoD clearance and meet U.S. nationality requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Assist engineers in building, wiring, and testing electronic systems for maritime defense.
  • Perform electrical testing, data collection, instrumentation setup, and troubleshooting.
  • Read and interpret schematics, BOMs, and engineering drawings; document results.
  • Maintain equipment and lab space; support safety and configuration control.
  • Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and systems engineers; travel up to 15% for field testing.
