Job summary

Columbus Technologies and Services is seeking an Electrical/Electronic Technician in the United States. You will analyze data, calibrate and adjust circuitry, and maintain lab equipment such as spectrum analyzers, temperature controllers, and cryo-coolers.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or equivalent education with hands-on aerospace experience.
• Up to 11 years in aerospace flight/ground support equipment assembly and evaluation.
• Repair and maintenance of semiconductor equipment including troubleshooting and calibration.
• Design and build test setups for detector testing.
• Operate and maintain test equipment (temperature controllers, spectrum analyzers, lab equipment).
• Troubleshoot mechanical or software issues in nonfunctioning equipment.
• Coordinate facility outages with users and on-site team.

Responsibilities

• Assemble experimental circuitry and prototype models per engineering instructions.
• Set up standard test apparatus and perform functional, environmental, and life tests.
• Analyze test data and adjust circuitry to improve performance and reliability.
• Record unit performance and maintain calibration of equipment.
• Coordinate with facility team to manage outages and maintenance tasks.
