Job summary

GreenXT is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to support the Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) Engineering Team in Philadelphia, performing integration, maintenance, and installation of DAS components.

You will assist in pre-installation planning, document improvements, and help the team resolve abnormal conditions to keep systems functioning reliably. This role is based in the office in Philadelphia.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizen with active Secret clearance or ability to obtain one.
• HS + 3 years related experience or AA/2-year technical degree with 1 year related experience.
• Comfort working with electrical equipment including LV and MV switchgear, generators, transformers, and load centers.
• Ability to lift and transport heavy equipment (≥30 lbs).
• Ability to climb ladders and work in shipyards/industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Perform duties in electronic, mechanical, electromechanical, and/or optical areas.
• Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, test, diagnose and maintain equipment and systems.
• Review and redline schematics and engineering drawings.
• Operate related equipment, conduct tests and report data in prescribed format.
• Perform terminations, wire runs and conduit installations.
• Carry out calibration/alignment checks and implement modifications as directed.

Green Expert Technology Inc. (GreenXT) is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to support the Data Acquisition Systems (DAS) Engineering Team.

This is encompassing operation, maintenance, and installation of various DAS programs. Support the DAS Engineering Team with advance planning, development, and organization for pre-installation preparation of upcoming components. Identify, document, report, and recommend improvements for unexpected or abnormal conditions to the DAS Engineering Team.

This position is expected to be in office in Philadelphia.

Requirements

• U.S. Citizen with an active Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance prior to start.
• HS + 3 years related experience or AA or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline with 1 years of related experience
• Candidate must be comfortable working within electrical equipment, including Low Voltage and Medium Voltage switchboards, generators, transformers, and load centers.
• Ability to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. The exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job, but no less than 30 lbs.
• Ability to work on and climb ladders, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces.

• Review and redline schematics, engineering drawings and written instructions.
• Operates related equipment; conducts tests and reports data in prescribed format.
• Perform terminations, run wiring and install conduit,
• Performs calibration and alignment checks; makes adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed; prepares prescribed compounds and solutions.
