Global Power Components is seeking an Electrical Engineering Technician to test and troubleshoot low-voltage systems (up to 480VAC) and support production on complex assemblies. The role blends 70% on the production floor with 30% office work, located at our Burnham site in Milwaukee.
Training will be provided, with room to grow as needs evolve. The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial electrical experience, reads schematics/blueprints, and holds a valid driver’s license.
Electrical Engineering Technician
EE Team - team is responsible for electrical design, quoting, and drawings of all projects. Team supports production during assembly to answer questions on design/installation. Responsible for testing completed projects and communicating with production/quality control on future improvements. Will initially focus on testing and supporting production to ensure correct installations. Will also support EE team with day-to-day tasks. Role will be 70% production and 30% office based - production will be at our new Burnham location (4101 W Burnham). We will provide ample training/support to this individual and help evolve your role as your interests develop and company needs change. Must be team-centric and willing to learn. Must be open to helping wherever needs and tackling a variety of different tasks for the team.
