Job description

Seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Technician to support the design, development, and testing of low-power, battery-operated medical electronics. This role involves assembling prototypes, setting up test systems, executing test procedures, and documenting results in collaboration with a multidisciplinary engineering team. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, team-driven environment dedicated to improving lives through innovative drug delivery systems.

Responsibilities:
  1. Assemble and test electronic prototypes using SMT components and hand tools
  2. Set up and operate lab equipment to simulate and evaluate system performance
  3. Support development efforts by troubleshooting electromechanical systems
  4. Document and report test results clearly and accurately
  5. Analyze test data using Excel or similar tools
  6. Follow established procedures and contribute to process improvements
  7. Collaborate closely with engineers to meet project milestones
  8. Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  1. High School Diploma/GED and 4+ years of relevant experience, or Associate’s degree and 2+ years of relevant experience
  2. Experience with PCB rework and prototype assembly
  3. Familiarity with lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, signal generators)
  4. LabVIEW and RF (BLE) testing experience preferred
