Job summary

General Atomics Aeronautical Systems, Inc. (GA-ASI) invites applications for an Engineering Aide within the Electrical Engineering team in San Diego, CA (Poway).

Under minimal supervision, you will support the FCCB for minor changes and provide technical/documentation support to Electrical Engineering on a range of tasks. The role requires an associate’s degree in engineering or related field and at least one year of experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Requires an associate’s degree in engineering or related field and 1 year of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary Electrical Engineering liaison to the FCCB for minor Change Requests (CRs) and Change Notices (CNs).
• Coordinate CAD updates, drawing reviews, and approvals with design, Check/Checking, and Responsible Design Engineers.
• Prepare and present FCCB briefings, track CR/CN status, and drive items to closure.
• Provide technical support on electrical and cable harness tasks, including manufacturability and process improvements.
• Observe laws, regulations, and company procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
