Job summary

BSA offers an Electrical Engineering Summer 2027 Internship in Raleigh for students in Electrical or Architectural Engineering. You will assist in developing design ideas, preparing drawings and client materials, and participating in design meetings with multi-disciplinary teams.

You may attend client meetings and site visits, and participate in field data collection and site surveys as part of project delivery. This internship provides hands-on experience with industry professionals.

Qualifications

Educational background: Will be a current student of an accredited Electrical or Architectural Engineering program during Summer 2027.
Software Skills: Familiarity with Revit, 3D CAD, SketchUp.
Office Tools: Familiarity with Microsoft Windows environment, Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

Participate in the development of design ideas based on factors such as appearance, design-function relationships, serviceability, and client specifications.
Prepare working drawings from sketches and design specifications.
Prepare presentations and materials for clients.
Participate in project design meetings to see how multi-disciplinary teams collaborate on design and delivery.
Attend client meetings; visit construction sites on projects.
Participate in site surveys to gather field data.
