Job summary

LivaNova is offering an internship in Southeast Houston, TX, focusing on electronic design, test automation, and product development for neuromodulation technology. You will work alongside engineers, gain hands-on experience in circuit design, PCB/layout, and CAD modeling, with one-on-one mentorship and exposure to a modern digital health platform.

Qualifications

• Working towards degree in Electrical, Computer, Software, Biomedical Engineering or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with robust engineering design and methodology including concept engineering, prototyping, circuit modeling and simulations for electronics production.
• Assist with test automation using C# to set up visualizations, GUIs, capture data, and control test equipment.
• Contribute to electromagnetics and wireless, analog circuit design, PCB layout, and 3D CAD modeling.
• Partner with product development teams through clear technical communication.

Areas Interns Will Be Exposed To

• Robust engineering design and methodology including concept engineering, prototyping, circuit modeling and simulations, and design of electronics for production
• Test automation utilizing C# and other programming languages to set up visualizations, GUIs, capture data, and control test equipment
• Electromagnetics and wireless, Analog circuit design, PCB layout, and 3D CAD modeling
• Technical communication with various functional teams in product development

Additional Information

• Location: Internship will be located onsite at our location in Southeast Houston, TX
• Compensation: The target range for this position is $25/hr - $28/hr
