Wisconsin Electric Power, a subsidiary of WEC Energy Group, seeks an Electrical Engineering Specialist for the Oak Creek Natural Gas Plant, Bluff Creek LNG, and Ixonia LNG locations in Wisconsin. The role focuses on controlling and engineering electrical systems to support safe LNG operations with a hybrid work arrangement.

The position manages cross-functional projects, seeks guidance on complex problems, and performs most assignments with limited supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Project Management, or related technical discipline; or Associate's degree with three years of experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical, instrumentation, and process controls for Wisconsin LNG storage facilities.
• Ensure consistency in electrical, controls, and instrumentation across WI-LNG sites.
• Assist with testing and maintenance of safety systems and low voltage MCC/Switchgear.
• Calibrate transmitters, meters, level sensors as required by 49 CFR 193, NFPA 70, NFPA 59A.
• Troubleshoot operational issues in instrumentation and control systems.
• Support capital and maintenance project planning and execution.
• Develop system plans to minimize life cycle costs while maintaining reliability and safety.
• Take technical and financial responsibility for planning and coordinating engineering projects.
• Prepare specifications and review bids for engineering projects.
• Identify and implement improvements through continuous process improvement.
• Coordinate with vendors, regulators, and inspectors to ensure compliance.
• Provide technical leadership and training in workgroups; travel as needed.
