Job summary

Advanced Laser Systems Technology (ALST) in Orlando, FL, part of Intelligent Manufacturing Solutions, seeks a Specialist in Electrical Engineering to lead PCB/CCA development, circuit design, and hardware architecture for advanced laser systems used in defense applications.

The role requires hands-on experience with PCB/CCA development, analog circuit design, and system-level electrical engineering across production and manufacturing environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or equivalent with relevant experience.
• Minimum 6 years electrical design experience or 4 years with advanced degree.
• 4+ years developing electronics for DoD/military markets.
• 5+ years PCB/CCA development using Orcad, Altium or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• PCB/CCA development including schematic capture, layout, routing and signal integrity analysis.
• Hardware development including subsystem architecture and analog board design.
• Develop analog circuits with component selection and SPICE simulation.
• Test, debug and verify hardware designs; analyze power, stress and tolerances.
• Prepare technical presentations for customers and management; support certifications.
