Job summary

Pratt & Whitney in McKinney, TX seeks an Electrical Engineering Manager for Subsystem Integration and Test, onsite. You will lead 15–20 engineers, guide design and verification of circuit-card assemblies, and coordinate with program management to ensure on‑time, within‑budget delivery.

The role requires a STEM degree and 8+ years of leadership in hardware and software test, with expertise in CCA design, PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, UART, and EDA tools.

Qualifications

• Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM)
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience
• Experience with CCA design and test
• Product test and troubleshoot experience in manufacturing execution systems
• Hardware and software test equipment development
• Project management using earned‑value or Agile frameworks

Responsibilities

• Lead a section of 15–20 engineers, providing functional leadership and career guidance
• Design, analyze, test, and document digital electronics circuit card assemblies—including embedded processors, FPGAs, memories, and interfaces such as PCIe, Ethernet, I2C, SPI, and UART
• Plan and execute integration and verification activities in engineering laboratories
• Lead medium‑sized teams to success; coach, review, and delegate work to junior engineers
• Support customer interactions, relations, and factory build/testing of sub‑assemblies
• Interface between program engineering and program management; coordinate technical issue status with program leadership
