Job summary

Particle Measuring Systems in Niwot, Colorado, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead a team of engineers through concept to product launch for precision measurement instruments.

You will own electrical architectures, oversee DFMEA, risk analysis, and ISO quality, mentor staff, and coordinate with project managers in a stage-gate environment. Experience in leadership and photonics is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent with strong hardware/embedded software grounding.
• Minimum 10 years in complex electrical/electromechanical design for research and new product development.
• Minimum 5 years of functional management or lead experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and performance leadership of the electrical design team across architecture, design, and implementation.
• Recruit, onboard, coach, and mentor team members, and manage performance and development plans.
• Define core competencies and strategic direction to meet product roadmap needs in photonics and high-sensitivity detection.
