This technically strong leader will oversee circuit design, PCB layouts, power electronics, and system integration with embedded software, coordinating across manufacturing and quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Typically 7+ years of progressive electrical engineering experience with leadership and project ownership.
• Strong knowledge of circuit design, analog and digital electronics, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with schematics, PCB design/review, component selection, and hardware testing.
• Ability to guide projects, resolve complex issues, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
• Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
• Practical, accountable leadership balancing technical quality with delivery.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering activities from concept through design, verification, release, and lifecycle support.
• Oversee circuit design, PCB development, component selection, interfaces, and subsystem integration.
• Review schematics, circuit designs, PCB layouts, test plans, and documentation.
• Provide technical direction for power electronics, power supplies, control circuits, and related systems.
• Collaborate with embedded software engineers to integrate firmware with hardware and system controls.
• Provide oversight for electrical systems in diagnostic X-ray equipment and related imaging tech.
• Lead root-cause investigations of electrical failures and performance issues.
• Evaluate design trade-offs for reliability, performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Ensure design controls, testing practices, and electrical safety are incorporated.
