Job summary

Monarch Quantum seeks a Manager of Electrical Engineering to build our EE foundation from the ground up in a fast-paced startup. You will recruit and lead a team of electrical engineers, drive the design, verification and transition to production of laser and photonic systems, and establish company-wide EE processes and tools.

Partner with Optical, Mechanical, Software and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system integration.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years of relevant experience in startup or technology company.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, develop, and manage a team of electrical engineers.
• Contribute to the design, integration, verification, and transition to production of complex laser and photonic systems.
• Create and maintain company-wide electrical engineering processes, standards, and tools.
• Be responsible for the execution of electrical engineering projects across the company, from requirements development and system architecture through design, integration, verification, validation, qualification, and production.
• Lead team in developing electrical architecture and design of complex laser, photonic, and electro-optical systems.
• As a member of the cross-functional leadership team, plan and execute company projects on schedule and to budget.
• Partner with Optical, Mechanical, Software, and Manufacturing teams to ensure seamless system-level integration.
• This position requires access to export-controlled information and US person eligibility.
