Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years designing and developing complex electrical and electromechanical products in R&D or new product development.
• 5+ years of engineering leadership with functional or technical team leadership.
• Strong foundation in electrical systems integrated with embedded software.
• Experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools (Altium, Xpedition, or PADS) and SPICE-based simulation.
• Hands-on familiarity with electrical lab instrumentation (oscilloscopes, signal generators, multimeters, spectrum analyzers).
• Understanding of hardware configuration management, design controls, and engineering release processes.
• Familiarity with ISO quality systems and applicable electrical safety and EMC standards (CE, ETL, IEC 61010).
• Experience with stage-gate and Agile product development processes.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, organizational, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of electrical engineers and designers for complex systems.
• Oversee electrical architecture, schematics, prototyping, testing, and documentation.
• Provide technical leadership for analog/digital electronics and embedded hardware.
• Establish engineering standards, design methods, and best practices.
• Drive project execution, resource planning, risk mitigation, and decisions balancing cost, schedule, performance.
• Lead DFMEA, design reviews, risk assessments, and ISO-quality processes.
• Collaborate with mechanical, firmware, systems, product, and project teams to launch new products.
• Support long-term technology planning, team development, and capability expansion.
