Siemens is seeking an Electrical Engineering Manager to lead the Design team in Wendell, NC. You will partner with manufacturing and operations, champion digital workflows, and drive continuous improvement while supporting relocation for eligible candidates.

We are looking for an **Electrical Engineering Manager** to join our Design team in Wendell, NC at Siemens E&A U.S. headquarters. Siemens Electrification & Automation business unit is enabling a more reliable, resilient, and sustainable electric grid. By partnering with utilities and EPCs, our integrated, turnkey electrical systems support grid modernization, capacity expansion, and energy transition for now and the future.

This hybrid position will be based in Wendell, NC. Located in the heart of the Research Triangle about 20 minutes east of Raleigh, Wendell offers top-rated schools, a mild climate, easy access to mountains and coast, and a cost of living that allows our compensation to go further. You’ll win us over by having the following qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline.
• Seven (7) or more years of experience in electrical engineering, product engineering, or power distribution systems.
• Two (2) or more years of leadership experience, including direct supervision, project leadership, technical leadership, or team coordination responsibilities.
• Experience supporting manufacturing operations and production environments.
• Knowledge of electrical power distribution equipment, protection and control systems, and industrial electrical design practices.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship now or in the future.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Medium Voltage Switchgear products.
• Experience with Siemens 8DJH36, SieBreak, or similar medium-voltage platforms.
• Familiarity with ANSI, IEEE, UL, NEMA, and IEC standards.
• Experience with EPLAN, AutoCAD Electrical, SAP, Teamcenter, NXTools, or similar engineering systems.
• Previous people management experience with performance management and talent development responsibilities.
• Experience supporting product localization or engineering transformation initiatives.
• Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Management, or Business Administration.
