Job summary

Nacho Offroad Technology seeks an Electrical Engineering Manager to guide hardware design from concept to production, focusing on LED lighting systems, PCB layouts, and power management. You will steer embedded firmware strategies, select microcontrollers, and shape the electrical architecture for robust performance in harsh automotive environments.

Candidates should bring 5+ years in automotive or electro-mechanical design, deep PCB expertise, and OEM spec proficiency.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related field.
5+ years hands-on experience in automotive or electro-mechanical product design.
Proven PCB layout, schematics, and signal/power integrity skills.
Deep understanding of microcontroller architectures (ARM, PIC, STM).
Experience interpreting and validating OEM engineering specifications.

Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end hardware design for automotive lighting, including PCB layout and packaging.
Oversee embedded firmware/ software strategy for microcontroller-driven lighting systems and CAN bus.
Define and negotiate OEM technical specs and ensure compliance (EMC/EMI, vibration, ingress protection).
Collaborate with mechanical, manufacturing, and quality teams to scale prototypes to production.
Drive innovation and thermals/ power efficiency in high-density electronics.
