Job summary

John Charles Search is partnering with an established engineering and manufacturing business to hire an Electrical Engineering Manager for conveyor and automation systems. The role leads the electrical/controls team through design to commissioning.

The successful candidate will mentor engineers, oversee electrical system design, and ensure compliance with safety and electrical codes while collaborating with mechanical, manufacturing and project teams on multiple concurrent initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, or 7–10+ years of relevant experience.
• 3–5+ years of engineering leadership or management experience.
• Strong knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motor controls and industrial automation.
• Familiarity with NEC, NFPA, UL and OSHA requirements.
• Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar software.
• Strong leadership, communication and project management skills.

Responsibilities
