Job summary

Yoh is hiring an Electrical Engineering Manager for our R&D client in Marietta, Ohio. You will lead a global team of electrical and embedded software engineers and technicians, shaping firmware, hardware, sensing, and control algorithms.

You will develop scalable control platforms and guide embedded controls across the full product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with UL/IEC/CE/CSA standards and coordinating with project managers on schedules and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or related technical discipline.
• Masters degree preferred.
• Five+ years leading embedded hardware and software teams.
• Three+ years designing embedded control systems for electromechanical products.
• Experience with embedded firmware development using C/C++.
• Strong understanding of embedded system architecture, microcontrollers, and real-time control systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams through product development.
• Experience developing thermal or refrigeration controls, or similar precision electromechanical systems.

• Partner with project managers to develop project schedules, staffing plans, and budgets.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Physics, or a related technical discipline.
• Masters Degree preferred

Experience Requirements

• Five or more years leading embedded hardware and software engineering teams.
• Three or more years designing and developing embedded control systems for electromechanical products.
• Developing products for regulated industries such as medical devices, laboratory equipment, or industrial controls.
• Experience with embedded firmware development using C/C++.
• Strong understanding of embedded system architecture, microcontrollers, and real-time control systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams through product development.
• Experience developing thermal control systems, refrigeration controls, or other precision electromechanical systems.
