ManpowerGroup, in partnership with a leading technology and infrastructure client, seeks an Electrical Engineering Manager (Critical Data Center) in Poughkeepsie, NY. You will lead the High Voltage Department, ensuring timely maintenance and zero backlog while coordinating with vendors and stakeholders on critical infrastructure projects.

The role requires 5+ years in HV systems, 3-5 years in supervision, and strong CMMS/Excel/Word skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in medium-high voltage electrical systems.
• 3-5 years in a supervisory or management role demonstrating leadership capabilities.
• Extensive knowledge of electrical distribution systems, UPS, generators, and critical environment equipment.
• Proficiency with CMMS work order management systems, Excel, and Word, with strong reporting and client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the High Voltage Department in daily operations and maintenance.
• Oversee vendor preventative maintenance programs and coordinate repairs for electrical equipment.
• Develop maintenance specifications and lead multi-year switchgear maintenance and major projects.
• Coordinate with client stakeholders through regular meetings and provide status updates.
• Support campus projects with detailed scopes, design reviews, and critical electrical studies.

Our client, a leading organization in the technology and infrastructure sector, is seeking a dedicated Electrical Engineering Manager (Critical Data Center) to join their dynamic team. As an Electrical Engineering Manager (Critical Data Center), you will be part of the Engineering & Facilities Department supporting critical infrastructure operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance and system reliability, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range: $67

What's the Job?

• Lead and supervise the High Voltage Department team in daily operations and maintenance activities, ensuring timely completion of all work orders with zero backlog.

• Oversee vendor preventative maintenance programs and coordinate repairs for electrical equipment including UPS Systems, Generators, Static Transfer Switches, ATSs, and Load Centers.

• Develop maintenance specifications and lead multi-year electrical switchgear maintenance, building shutdown projects, and medium voltage switching operations.

• Coordinate with client stakeholders through regular meetings, providing updates on maintenance activities, project involvement, and action plans.

• Support campus projects by developing detailed scopes of work, reviewing engineering designs, and performing critical electrical studies and analyses.
