Job summary

The Baker Company in Sanford, Maine, seeks an experienced Electrical Engineering Supervisor to lead the Electrical team and advance the design, development, and lifecycle management of electrical systems for laboratory equipment. This role blends hands-on engineering with team leadership and cross-department collaboration.

You will direct day-to-day operations, oversee safety, performance, and KPIs, and ensure compliance with UL/CE standards while pursuing continuous improvement and IP

Qualifications

• B.S. degree in engineering and five years of electrical engineering experience.
• Experience leading and developing an electrical team and projects.
• Familiar with regulatory standards (UL, CE) and product compliance.
• Strong communication, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• PMP certification a plus; project management proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision of the Electrical team including hiring and training.
• Lead safety initiatives and drive ISO-9001 alignment and audits.
• Oversee development of electrical drawings, schematics, and standards.
• Coordinate ERP interactions and product lifecycle management.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, and project report-outs with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and commercial teams on IP and improvements.
