Job summary

ISG is seeking motivated and enthusiastic interns to join our dynamic team for the summer in Storm Lake, IA. This Electrical Engineering Internship offers hands-on experience across disciplines as part of a comprehensive professional development program.

As an intern, you will work with 800+ employee owners and participate in mentorship, bi-weekly workshops, and career development activities designed to build your skills and confidence for future leadership roles in engineering.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a 2- or 4-year Electrical Drafting or Electrical Engineering program.
• Familiar with computer aided software programs such as Revit.
• Must be able to communicate, organize, and collaborate effectively.

• Enrolled in a 2- or 4-year Electrical Drafting or Electrical Engineering program.
• Become familiar with and produce work using computer aided software programs such as Revit.
• Be accountable to other members of the team to complete assigned tasks and recognize performance of other team members.
• Work on several projects at one time.

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise

Professional Development Program

Throughout the summer, interns will take part in our professional development program designed to enhance their skills and home in on their strengths. This program includes:

• Bi-Weekly Workshops: Participate in sessions led by Kinzee Miest covering topics such as goal setting, elevating your strengths, and building confidence in a professional setting.
• Mentorship: Receive guidance and support from a dedicated mentor who will help you navigate your internship.
• Career Development: Gain insights into career paths and opportunities within the engineering field through coaching sessions with your team leaders.

Other:

• Housing stipends are provided to students who are required to relocate.
• Ability to start working towards your ESOP eligibility.
