Job summary

Cleveland-Cliffs, a leading North America-based steel producer, invites applications for an Electrical Engineering Intern in Columbus. You will work alongside industry leaders on predictive and preventive maintenance, equipment design, modernization, and problem solving for real-world plant challenges.

Enrollment in a BS in Electrical Engineering or related field is required, with sophomore year completed by summer 2027. U.S.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in Bachelor of Science program in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related technical degree.
• Completion of at least sophomore year by Summer 2027.
• Authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Responsibilities

• Recommend and/or perform predictive, preventative, and emergency maintenance of equipment.
• Research, design, evaluate, install, modernize, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Analyze current operating performance and procedures; propose improvements.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and reports.
• Participate in planning, scheduling, and cost control of maintenance projects.
