Cleveland-Cliffs in Columbus, OH is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support maintenance, design, and reliability efforts across our facilities.

You will work with engineers on predictive and preventive maintenance, read blueprints, and participate in planning and cost control of projects; candidates must be enrolled in a BS program and advance by 2027.

This internship offers real-world experience and potential for future full-time employment within a leading steel producer.

Competenze

• Enrollment in Bachelor of Science program in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
• Completion of at least sophomore year by summer 2027.

Mansioni

• Recommend and perform predictive, preventive, and emergency maintenance of equipment.
• Research, design, evaluate, install, modernize, redesign, operate, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
• Resolve equipment malfunctions, including those requiring planned shutdowns or breakdown action.
• Participate in planning, scheduling, and cost control of maintenance/engineering projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
• Analyze current operating performance and SOPs and make improvement recommendations.
• Support various other projects to aid the business.
