Kimley-Horn's Sacramento office is seeking Electrical Engineering students to join our Renewable Energy team for hands-on internships. This is not a remote position.

As part of the Electrical group, you will work on photometrics, lighting, power distribution, EV charging, and battery storage projects, with exposure to solar energy initiatives. You will assist with technical specifications, cost research, and deliverables while learning to apply industry standards.

Qualifications

• In the process of receiving an ABET accredited Electrical Engineering Degree (Bachelors or Masters)

Responsabilités

• Our Electrical teams work on a wide variety of projects, such as photometrics and lighting, power distribution, EV charging, and more
• Gain exposure to solar/energy projects with a focus in battery storage and PV
• Assist with technical specification and report writing electrical equipment cost research.
• Utilize technical software programs on a regular basis to analyze, produce, and QC deliverables for our clients.
• Solve complex problems, assist project managers, and collaborate across disciplines to produce our clients’ visions for the future built environment.
• Develop familiarity with the federal, state, and local regulations, as well as Kimley-Horn’s and our client’s practices, procedures, and standards.

Hourly Rate: $32.00/hr - $33.00/hr
