Cleveland-Cliffs is offering an Electrical Engineering Internship in Dearborn, MI. Interns work with engineers to maintain, design, and optimize equipment across plants, gaining exposure to real-world maintenance and project planning.

Qualifications

Enrollment in BS in Electrical Engineering or related technical degree.
Completion of at least sophomore year by Summer 2027.

Responsibilities

Recommend and perform predictive, preventative, and emergency maintenance of equipment.
Research, design, evaluate, install, modernize, redesign, operate, maintain, and repair machinery and equipment.
Resolve equipment malfunctions, including those requiring scheduled shutdowns or breakdown action.
Participate in planning, scheduling, and cost control of maintenance/engineering projects.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and reports.
Analyze current operating performance and SOPs and suggest improvements.
Support various other projects to assist the business.
