Job summary

Brunswick’s Navico Group seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern to support new product development and sustaining efforts from Menomonee Falls, WI. You’ll test in a lab, assist PCBA prototype development, and support design tasks for Power Solutions.

Internship runs May–August, full-time, onsite with relocation available. Candidates pursuing a BE in Electrical Engineering or related field are encouraged to apply, with OrCAD/Altium and soldering skills a plus.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Must adapt to changing directives in a competitive environment.
• Lab environment experience (environmental chamber, electrical, soldering, PCBA fabrication) is a plus.
• OrCAD or Altium PCBA design experience through coursework, design projects, or internships.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Execute product validation testing with detailed test reporting.
• Communicate test data and issues with engineering team via test request system.
• Build PCBA prototypes according to engineering drawings.
• Troubleshoot PCBA failures with guidance of engineers.
• Design and fabricate test fixtures.
• Provide technical assistance and resolution when product issues arise.
• Plan, coordinate, and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously.
• Contribute to decision-making that affects corporate strategy.
• This internship will be a full-time commitment from May to August.
