Job summary

Westlake invites engineering interns to contribute at our United States PEM locations, including Calvert City, KY, under mentorship.

You will observe department activities, assist supervisors, participate in safety programs and maintain an intern journal, with a presentation to management at the end of the internship.

This internship targets Electrical Engineering students who meet GPA and work-eligibility criteria and require on-site work with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Must have completed second year of college.
• Must be majoring in Electrical Engineering
• Must have a 3.0 or higher GPA.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Work on assigned projects with the close supervision of mentor/supervisor.
• Observe activities of the assigned department/unit.
• Assist mentor/supervisor in day-to-day tasks.
• Actively participate in Complex safety/environmental programs.
• Maintain intern work/activity journal.
• Presentation to management team.
