Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions, Inc in Fort Myers, FL invites an Electrical Intern for Summer 2027. This entry-level internship offers exposure to real projects from concept to construction, with mentorship from experienced engineers and hands-on drafting in Revit and electrical design.

You will work full-time over May–August, with a hybrid schedule allowing up to 3 days remote. Candidates must be pursuing an ABET-accredited bachelor's degree in electrical or architectural engineering and show a

Qualifications

Current student pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering
Desire to pursue a career in engineering consulting
Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week) from May through August 2026
Computer software knowledge or ability to learn, as appropriate (Revit, SKM, etc.)

Responsibilities

The Intern will work at applying academic education to assigned tasks on real projects of all sizes and types from concept to completion of construction
They are provided on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers to learn the basics of Revit drafting / modeling and electrical design including lighting and power distribution to all necessary equipment
