Job summary

TLC Engineering Solutions, Inc. invites motivated students to join our Summer 2027 Electrical Intern program in Tampa, FL. The internship runs from mid-May to early August, with full-time hours and a flexible start time.

The role includes on-the-job training, mentorship, and hybrid work options (up to 3 days from home). You will work on projects from concept to construction, gaining hands-on experience in Revit drafting, modeling, and electrical design including lighting and power distribution.

Qualifications

• Current student pursuing an ABET accredited bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or architectural engineering.
• Desire to pursue a career in engineering consulting.
• Ability to work full time (40 hours per week) from May through August 2027.

Responsibilities

• Assist on real projects from concept to construction completion.
• Receive on-the-job training and mentorship from experienced engineers.
• Learn basics of Revit drafting/modeling and electrical design including lighting and power distribution.
