Job summary

Jacobs Solutions Inc. is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for Summer 2027. You will be mentored by Professional Engineers, engage with clients, and develop concept-level plans and solutions for building electrical and lighting systems across diverse project types.

You will support calculations, drawings, and specifications while collaborating with a technical team. The ideal candidate is pursuing an Electrical Engineering degree, has completed at least two years of coursework, and can

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a degree seeking program for Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or Engineering from an accredited program.
• Completion of at least two years of collegiate coursework
• Must live within a commutable distance from the office
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• Authorization to work in the United States without the need for visa sponsorship, now or in the future

Responsibilities

• Support engineering calculations, construction drawings, and specifications for building electrical and lighting systems
• Coordinate with other trades (architectural and engineering) under guidance
• Assist with design calculations and quality of deliverables to ensure completeness and accuracy
