Job summary

IMEG Corporation in Las Vegas, NV is offering a 10-12 week Electrical Engineering Intern program for Summer 2027. You will assist with design portions of electrical systems, coordinate with cross-disciplinary teams, and support project documentation and client relations within budget and schedule constraints.

Earn hands-on experience on hospitality-focused MEP projects, work under seasoned engineers, and gain exposure to CAD/BIM workflows, project notebooks, and site observations.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a Bachelor of Science (BS) Degree in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent required
• Strong interest in design consulting
• Proficient with MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to clearly communicate in both oral and written communication to individuals or groups

Responsibilities

• Assist with design portions of electrical systems for building projects according to code and IMEG standards
• Assist with researching commercially available equipment
• Assist with maintaining client relations, project design notebooks, and documentation for permanent record files
• Assist with coordinating design and schedule with other disciplines, including architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, technology, clerical, and equipment suppliers
• Assist with documenting design decisions, meetings, and client instructions while monitoring project design progress
• Assist with reviewing project documents for accuracy and completeness prior to requesting a final check
• Assist with preparing and issuing addendum information
• Conduct periodic job site observations and other services required by the contract services agreement
