Utilitra is seeking an Engineer Intern to support the engineering team on the NESC service violations project. This hands-on role provides exposure to field measurements, data management, and customer interactions in a utilities context.

The right candidate is pursuing an engineering degree, communicates well, and is willing to travel to site locations, with potential overnight stays. This internship offers practical experience in electrical design and project support.

Qualificações

• Currently pursuing an engineering or related technical degree.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for data management and reporting.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Team player with collaborative attitude.
• Willing to travel to project sites and stay overnight when required.

Responsabilidades

• Support engineering team in field activities related to NESC service violations project.
• Input field data into company databases and assist in daily contracts administration.
• Assist field visits to gather measurements, photos, and site information.
• Learn to design overhead and underground electric distribution facilities.
• Review maps, drawings, and utility records for projects.
• Help prepare job packages, construction prints, and material lists.
• Maintain project information in company software systems.
• Assist with customer service requests, upgrades, relocations, and new installations.
• Learn Ameren standards, safety requirements, and utility practices.
• Support cost estimates, project tracking, and documentation.
• Work with experienced technicians to build technical and field knowledge.
• Assist customers with questions, maintaining professionalism and clear communication.
• Participate in project meetings and share insights from field activities.
• Cross-train across engineering facets to grow responsibility over time.
