Job summary

RVE, an Ardurra Company, is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for our Cherry Hill, NJ or Egg Harbor Twp, NJ offices. You will support electrical system design, power distribution, lighting, load calculations, and equipment selection under supervision, gaining hands-on experience with engineering software and project processes.

The ideal candidate is pursuing a BS in Electrical Engineering, detail‑oriented, and eager to learn.

Qualifications

Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Interest in electrical systems, power distribution, lighting, and building electrical design.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and work ethic.
Excellent written and verbal communication; team oriented and self-motivated.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office; familiarity with engineering software preferred.

Responsibilities

Perform entry-level electrical engineering duties under supervision.
Assist with power distribution, lighting systems, load calculations, and equipment selection.
Prepare design documents and project documentation.
Review drawings, schedules, and specifications for accuracy.
Support field investigations and site visits to document conditions.
Utilize design software for layouts, calculations, drafting, and documentation.
Assist project teams with technical and administrative tasks.
Develop understanding of applicable building and electrical codes and standards.
