Job summary

IMEG Corp. in Rock Island, IL is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for a 10-12 week summer program.

You will support engineering analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings, working closely with a team of experienced engineers. The role offers hands-on project work, collaboration across disciplines, and mentorship with a path to potential full-time opportunities.

Qualifications

• Completed at least 2 years towards a BS in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Exposure to CAD and/or Building Information Modeling software.
• Proficient with MS Office including Word, Excel, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Assist with engineering analysis, design, and implementation oversight of electrical systems in buildings.
• Assist with design portions of projects according to code and IMEG standards.
• Help manage project budgets and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet goals.
