Jacobs in Dallas/Fort Worth, TX is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern to support the Buildings team on federal projects. You will be mentored by Professional Engineers, engage with clients, and develop concept-level plans and solutions.

You will assist with calculations, drawings and specifications, while coordinating with other trades under senior staff supervision. Hybrid work policy and growth opportunities are highlighted in this role.

Qualifications

• United States Citizenship
• Currently enrolled in a degree seeking program for Electrical Engineering from an ABET accredited program
• Completion of at least two years of collegiate coursework
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
• Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD

Responsibilities

• Support engineering calculations, construction drawings and specifications for federal projects
• Provide design calculations and coordinate with architectural and engineering trades under senior staff guidance
• Engage with clients to evaluate needs and develop concept-level plans and solutions
• Assist with project coordination and use of computer-aided engineering tools
• Ensure completeness, accuracy and timeliness of assigned work
