Job summary

EwingCole in Philadelphia or Wayne is seeking a Electrical Engineering Intern to join our multi-disciplinary team for Summer 2027. You will participate in CAD-driven project work and support the electrical discipline across various building projects.

Qualifications

Enrolled in an ABET program pursuing a BS or MS degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or Architectural Engineering
Beginning knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit
Microsoft Office Suite
Basic computer skills

Responsibilities

Utilize AutoCAD and Revit BIM software to assist in the drafting and documentation of electrical, lighting, and low voltage systems
Assisting in electrical distribution design
Assisting in the design of architectural lighting systems
Creating lighting models and performing lighting calculations
Analyzing energy code requirements and performing energy calculations
Analyzing architectural models and drawings to ensure an integrated design solution
Coordinating electrical design with architects and other engineering disciplines
Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested.
