Job summary

L3Harris is seeking an Intern, Electrical Engineering in Clifton, NJ to contribute to designing and developing electrical systems for military and commercial aircraft and ground stations. You will learn to create wiring diagrams, panels, and other electrical components using CAD tools, while collaborating with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production teams.

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science or related technical degree at an accredited university.
• Preferred CAD/PLM skills include NX and Teamcenter.
• Knowledge of Siemens Capital software.

Responsibilities

• Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, control panels and other items using CAD tools.
• Research and prepare engineering drawings and coordinate with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to meet requirements at minimum cost.
• Assist with development of avionics, RF, LAN, Data Processing, Power Distribution, Electrical Loads analysis and testing/integration on aircraft.
