Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Salt Lake City invites an Intern, Electrical Engineering to learn to design and develop electrical systems for aircraft and ground stations, with exposure to avionics, RF, and power distribution. You will create wiring diagrams using CAD tools, assist with engineering drawings, and coordinate with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing and Production to meet cost and requirements.

Pursuing a Bachelor's, Master's or PhD in EE or related field is required; knowledge of CAD/PLM

Qualifications

• Must be pursuing a Bachelor's degree, a Master's degree or a PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, Computer Science degree or related technical degree at an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Create system wiring diagrams, circuit breaker panels, control panels and other items using CAD (Computer Aided Design) tool
• Research and preparation of engineering drawings, and coordination of design activities with Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production to ensure that designs meet requirements at minimum cost
• Designs can include development of Avionics Systems, RF, LAN, Data Processing, Power Distribution Systems, Electrical Loads analysis, Load shedding scheme to name a few, along with the opportunity to support testing and integration of systems on the aircraft
