Kodiak Robotics, Inc. invites applications for a Winter 2027 Electrical Engineering Intern in Mountain View, CA. The role focuses on AV power systems, hardware design, and data-driven decision support within a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of electrical circuits, power systems, and control systems.
• Experience with Altium or Cadence is preferred.
• Exposure to I2C, SPI, CANbus, or battery systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, and testing of AV power system equipment, hardware and component selection, PCB design, and system-level integration.
• Collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team including engineering and non-engineering disciplines.
• Carry out tasks under supervision of senior engineers and project engineers.
• Execute small-scale scopes of work within quality, schedule, and cost constraints.
• Create technical presentations and communicate work to colleagues and stakeholders.
• Generate wiring diagrams/tables, models, simulations and schematics.
• Gather, process, and analyze large datasets to inform decisions.
