Job summary

Clasen Quality Chocolate (CQC) is seeking an Electrical Engineering Intern for our Milton, WI facility. This role supports capital projects related to industrial automation, process controls, and electrical distribution, working Monday through Friday on a first shift.

The intern will assist with research, design, installation and commissioning of equipment, collaborate with the site Electrical Engineer and Engineering Manager, and gain hands-on experience in a world-class manufacturing

Qualifications

• High School Diploma and at least 2 years toward a BS in Electrical Engineering.
• Industrial Controls/Process Automation focus preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in research, design, installation and commercialization of equipment and processes in the Milton, WI manufacturing facility.
• Plan, develop, program and implement methods of control and automation to improve operations, minimize costs, maximize efficiency.
• Follow all safety and quality policies and procedures and maintain regular attendance.
• Coordinate with the site Electrical Engineer and Electrical Engineering Manager.

We are currently accepting applications for an Electrical Engineering Intern at our new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Milton, WI, conveniently located between Madison and Janesville. This position works Monday - Friday, first shift hours.

JOB SUMMARY : Conceptualize, plan, design and execute Capital Projects relating to Industrial Automation, Process Controls and Electrical Distribution. This person will work closely with the site Electrical Engineer & Electrical Engineering Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned.

• Assist in the research, design, installation and commercialization of equipment and processes in the Milton, WI manufacturing facility.
• Plan, develop, program and implement methods of control and automation to improve operations, minimize operating costs, maximize efficiency and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
• Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor, while following all company, safety, and quality policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular work attendance.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance at work, and work overtime as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 2 years completed toward a BS in Electrical Engineering. Focus on Industrial Controls and/or Process Automation
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
