Clasen Quality Chocolate, Inc. seeks an Electrical Engineering Intern for our Milton, WI facility.

The role supports Capital Projects related to Industrial Automation, Process Controls and Electrical Distribution, working closely with the site Electrical Engineer and Electrical Engineering Manager. The position requires a High School Diploma and progress toward a BS in Electrical Engineering (Industrial Controls/Process Automation).

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• Minimum of 2 years completed toward a BS in Electrical Engineering with focus on Industrial Controls and/or Process Automation.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Assist in research, design, installation and commercialization of equipment and processes at Milton, WI facility.
• Plan, develop, program and implement methods of control and automation to improve operations and efficiency.
• Follow safety and quality policies; maintain regular attendance.
• Perform tasks as assigned by supervisor and adapt to site needs.

We are currently accepting applications for an Electrical Engineering Intern at our new, state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Milton, WI, conveniently located between Madison and Janesville. This position works Monday - Friday, first shift hours.

JOB SUMMARY : Conceptualize, plan, design and execute Capital Projects relating to Industrial Automation, Process Controls and Electrical Distribution. This person will work closely with the site Electrical Engineer & Electrical Engineering Manager.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned.

• Assist in the research, design, installation and commercialization of equipment and processes in the Milton, WI manufacturing facility.
• Plan, develop, program and implement methods of control and automation to improve operations, minimize operating costs, maximize efficiency and effect greater utilization of labor and materials.
• Perform all tasks assigned by the supervisor, while following all company, safety, and quality policies and procedures.
• Maintain regular work attendance.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Maintain regular attendance at work, and work overtime as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS :

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 2 years completed toward a BS in Electrical Engineering. Focus on Industrial Controls and/or Process Automation
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
