Job summary

Alignerr invites an Electrical Engineering Expert to help train and evaluate AI models across circuit analysis, power systems, and related domains. This fully remote hourly contract offers 10–40 hours per week, with autonomy to shape AI reasoning and evaluation standards.

You will author rigorous benchmarks, audit AI outputs for accuracy and safety, and document failure modes to strengthen AI approaches in embedded systems and engineering simulations. No prior AI experience required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or holding a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related discipline.
• Strong foundational knowledge in one or more core areas: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, or signal processing.
• Able to communicate highly technical concepts clearly and precisely in written form.
• Detail-oriented when working with mathematical equations, circuit logic, and technical documentation.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working independently and asynchronously.
• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging problems across electrical engineering domains to stress-test AI performance.
• Author gold-standard solutions by writing rigorous, step-by-step technical responses that serve as benchmarks for AI learning.
• Audit AI outputs — evaluate generated circuit diagrams, mathematical proofs, and code for technical accuracy, safety, and adherence to standards (IEEE, NEC, etc.).
• Sharpen AI reasoning by identifying logical gaps and providing structured feedback.
• Document failure modes across embedded systems, robotics, and engineering simulations for systematic hardening of AI.
