Alignerr is seeking an Electrical Engineering Expert for AI training. This fully remote hourly contract role focuses on designing advanced engineering scenarios and creating precise, step-by-step ground-truth solutions to benchmark AI performance.

You will audit AI outputs for accuracy and safety, refine model reasoning, and contribute to independent, asynchronous work with flexible hours. A master's or PhD in EE or related field is required.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, signal processing, or embedded systems.
• Ability to clearly communicate complex technical concepts in writing.

• No prior AI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Design challenging problems for AI training across domains such as circuit analysis, power systems, electromagnetics, signal processing, and embedded systems.
• Author ground-truth solutions with precise, step-by-step explanations for benchmarks.
• Audit AI outputs (code, diagrams, proofs) for correctness, safety and standards compliance (IEEE, NEC).
• Identify gaps in AI reasoning and provide structured feedback to improve models.
• Work asynchronously and manage tasks on a flexible schedule.

Electrical Engineering Expert (AI Training)

About The Role

We're looking for experienced electrical engineers to help train and improve cutting-edge AI models. Your technical expertise will directly shape how AI reasons through complex engineering problems - from circuit analysis to power systems to signal processing. This is a flexible, fully remote contract role where your domain knowledge makes a real difference in the quality and reliability of next-generation AI.

What You'll Do

• Design Challenging Problems - Create advanced electrical engineering scenarios across domains like circuit analysis, power systems, electromagnetics, signal processing, and embedded systems to rigorously test AI performance
• Author Ground-Truth Solutions - Develop precise, step-by-step technical solutions that serve as benchmarks for AI learning and evaluation
• Audit Technical Accuracy - Review AI-generated outputs including code, circuit diagrams, and mathematical proofs for correctness, safety, and adherence to engineering standards (IEEE, NEC, etc.)
• Refine AI Reasoning - Identify logical gaps or flaws in AI-generated engineering reasoning and provide structured, constructive feedback to improve model performance
• Work Asynchronously - Complete assignments independently on a schedule that works for you

Who You Are

• Hold or are pursuing a Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field
• Have strong foundational expertise in one or more of: VLSI, control systems, telecommunications, power electronics, signal processing, or embedded systems
• Can communicate complex technical concepts clearly and precisely in written form
• Have a sharp eye for mathematical accuracy, circuit logic, and technical documentation
• Are self-motivated and comfortable working independently
• No prior AI experience required

Nice to Have

• Experience with data annotation, data labeling, or AI evaluation workflows
• Familiarity with simulation tools (MATLAB, SPICE, etc.)
• Background in technical writing or engineering documentation
