Fibertek, Inc. in Herndon, VA is seeking an Electrical Engineering Firmware Intern to assist in the design, implementation, and testing of firmware as part of the Electrical Engineering department.

Located in Herndon, Virginia, this internship offers hands-on work with the firmware team on VHDL code and SystemVerilog test benches. Job Description

The Electrical Engineering Firmware Intern will assist the Electrical Engineering department with design, implementation, and test of firmware as needed.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements/Demands

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• General office environment, no special physical demands required. Some lifting and/or moving up to 15 pounds required.
• Salary Range: The base salary range for this position is $20-$25/hour. This range reflects the compensation Fibertek reasonably expects to offer for this role. Placement within the range will depend on factors such as the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s experience, education and training, key skills, and relevant market and business considerations.
