Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking a Director of Electrical Engineering in Dallas to lead the electrical engineering practice for a multidisciplinary design firm.

This senior role requires strategic leadership, deep technical expertise, and a proven track record of delivering complex building projects. You will mentor engineers and designers, coordinate with architects and project managers, ensure code compliance, and drive quality through documentation, standards, and QA practices

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Active Professional Engineer (PE) license is required.
• 10+ years of electrical engineering experience in the built environment.
• Proven experience leading electrical design teams and managing projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical engineering projects from concept through completion.
• Serve as the senior technical authority for electrical design, documentation, and QC.
• Mentor, develop, and provide leadership to engineers, EITs, and designers.
• Manage team workload, project assignments, schedules, and staffing needs.
• Collaborate with architects, project managers, clients, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Perform and oversee electrical calculations, specifications, and construction documents.
• Ensure designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client expectations.
• Support business development and grow electrical engineering services.
• Maintain and improve engineering standards, processes, and QA practices.
