Key Responsibilities

• Design power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and low-voltage systems for new and renovated buildings
• Perform load calculations, short circuit analysis, and voltage drop studies
• Prepare construction drawings and specifications using AutoCAD and Revit
• Collaborate with architects, clients, and multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Conduct site visits, review submittals, and provide construction phase support
• Mentor junior engineers and support quality control on project deliverables

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering
• 5+ years of experience in MEP consulting
• Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, and electrical calculation tools (e.g., SKM, ETAP)
• PE license in Texas preferred or in progress
• Strong knowledge of NEC, energy codes, and applicable industry standards
