This position reports to:

R&D Senior Engineer

As a Co-Op, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is onsite in Greenville, South Carolina.

Please note that no relocation assistance or stipend will be offered for this position. Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius of the office location. Candidates are expected to manage their own commuting arrangements.

This position is a part of our motor research group and works to aid in electric motor research and development on emerging technologies, prototypes, and unconventional test setups. This Co-Op will help design and execute innovative motor testing solutions, develop advanced control systems, and analyze complex power and electromagnetic characteristics to accelerate next-generation motor technology.

The hourly rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications, graduation year and experience. This position is expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
