Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program in Engineering or Business, in the United States.
  • Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
  • Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions.
  • Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Exhibit the capability to manage several tasks at once while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with various teams to support ABB's operations, ensuring effective coordination and successful project completion within the defined timelines.
  • Utilizing understanding of customers' needs and ABB's solutions to determine effective solutions for customers, ensuring successful project outcomes aligned with customer requirements.
  • Assist with daily administrative duties.
  • Analyze sales, market, and customer data to identify growth opportunities, market trends, and actionable business insights.
  • Develop reports, dashboards, and analytics tools that improve visibility into sales performance, pipeline health, and industrial growth initiatives.
  • Partner with sales team to provide support on preparing technical bid proposals, coordination with factory teams, and customer interactions.
  • Capture and communicate sales success stories, best practices, and collaboration wins to increase awareness and adoption across the organization.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of sales workshops, customer events, and team engagement activities.
  • Prepare presentations, reports, and recommendations for sales leadership to support strategic decision-making.

This position reports to:

Sales Leader - EPC & Named End User Accounts

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain practical experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your skills by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities. The work model for the role is hybrid in either Cary, NC, Atlanta, GA or Houston, TX.

You will be mainly accountable for:

The hourly rate is determined by things such as the successful applicant's qualifications, graduation year and experience. This position is expected to pay between $20 - $34 per hour.
