Job summary

Wizards of the Coast in Boston is seeking an Electrical Engineering Co-op for Jan–July 2027. You will design toys, develop product interactions and explore new technology, collaborating with Hasbro teams to bring ideas from concept to production.

Co-ops work on electronic schematics, prototypes, and gameplay integration, with opportunities to prototype and present projects. This paid, in-person co-op requires full-time commitment and eligibility to work in the United States.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a university degree program and have completed at least one year toward a BS in Electrical, Computer, or Robotics/Animatronics Engineering.
• Experience soldering and using standard electronic test equipment, such as a multimeter or oscilloscope.
• Strong communication, time management and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and iterate electronic schematics.
• Build and test electrical prototype boards, including soldering and debugging.
• Write IC programs for electronic toys in an environment similar to Arduino.
• Refine product gameplay for program development.
• Identify and troubleshoot problems with development models.
• Research new technologies and evaluate competitor products.
